Scope of Services

Suman Web Design offers professional design and development services, including custom UI/UX design, responsive HTML5/CSS3 coding, site performance optimization, and SEO auditing. The exact deliverables, design stages, and technology stack for any project are defined in writing in the respective project proposal approved by the client.

Any additions or modifications to the scope of work requested after the project starts will be treated as out-of-scope additions and charged at a standard hourly rate or billed as a separate milestone contract. We make no guarantees for services not explicitly listed in the project roadmap.

Milestones & Payments

Projects are divided into transparent milestones, with payment terms structured around specific checkpoints. A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent of the total project value is required before design work begins. Subsequent payments are due upon approval of design wireframes and final staging deployment, prior to transferring the final files to the client's live server.

All payments must be made via bank transfer or supported digital payment interfaces in Indian Rupees (INR) or equivalent currency conversion. Invoices are subject to payment within seven business days, after which we reserve the right to halt development work until outstanding balances are cleared.

Revision & Feedback Policy

We want to ensure complete client satisfaction. Each project milestone includes up to two rounds of major revisions based on the client's detailed, consolidated feedback. Revisions must be requested within five business days of receiving the draft mockup or staging link; requests made after this period will be deemed as approval of the milestone.

Major changes that contradict previously approved specifications or constitute a rewrite of the design system will be billed as out-of-scope modifications. The client is responsible for supplying all text, brand imagery, and content assets in a timely manner to maintain the project timeline.

Termination & Refunds

Either party may terminate the service agreement upon written notice if the other party breaches their obligations or fails to respond for more than ten consecutive business days. In the event of termination, the client will be billed for all milestones completed up to the termination date, and any work in progress will remain the intellectual property of Suman Web Design.

Since services are milestone-based, refunds are not provided for work that has been completed, reviewed, and approved by the client. Deposits are non-refundable as they cover administrative startup costs and initial resource allocation.

Governing Law & Disputes

This Service Agreement and all transactions arising under it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal actions, disputes, or claims arising out of or in connection with our services must be filed exclusively in the competent courts of Asansol, West Bengal, India.

Before initiating any formal legal action, both parties agree to engage in good-faith negotiations to resolve the dispute amicably. Suman Web Design's total liability under any contract is strictly limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in dispute.
